What is Magnesium and why is it crucial in your diet?

Magnesium is a natural element found in our body, and can be naturally found in many of the foods we as a society consume. Magnesium is necessary in order for certain biochemical reactions and functions, and according to the National Institute of Health, Magnesium plays a role in approximately over 300 enzyme systems.

Magnesium helps regulate the following significant biochemical functions of the body:
